Relocated my battery to the trunk pics!
relocated my battery to the trunk. i think the small batteries were just having issues, they kept dieing on me. so i went with the optima red top. i used 4 gauge wire but i think that im going to switch to 2 gauge. i ran the positive battery cable through the driver side fender and came into to cab through the rubber piece thats under the dash next to the clutch pedal then ran it to the trunk under the door panels. and yes, i am going to cut the threaded rods down.

really loving that battery box, just a word of concern, the previous owner of my TB VIII did the same(relocated to trunk), im not sure about the quality of cable but my car takes 3-4 seconds to crank, i think i am losing power over the distance.i replaced the starter thinking that was the problem. i'm installing a capacitor under the hood to help it out.
