Well done!! very nice. The X-acto knife is the trick, rite?
Well, another advice. Leave the chrome part intact and masking tape the red lense. Removing and replacing the chrome part is a *****! Good luck everybody!!! I'm sure the Evo VII tailights prices is going to drop like hell!! Just remember, I did it 1st!
lol. please post more pic and experiences. It would be nice to learn more.

Man, I don't think I would want to be liable for doing this to anyone elses lights. If I had an accident and screwed up, I would hate to have to buy a new set, plus it takes forever...lots of labor.

I did that on my 2000 Celica GTS headlights and I was thinking of doing it on the evo but I didn't know if it would look right. Looks like I'm going to do it since they look nice on your guys cars.
