I'm looking at an evo and just want to see how a baby seat fits how much room there is in the front for the driver and passenger

plenty of room. I may be able to get a pic sometime soon, but I feel like someone will beat me to it.

You have to scoot the front seat up a bit but not too much.

Would you put the car seat in the middle or on the side? I have a 3 yr old in the back of mine, it is a front-facing seat, so that makes it easier, a rear-facing might be a bit of a squeeze for the passenger (if you have one).

Fits no problem. My son has been in an Evo since day 1. There is plenty of room. Only issue is making sure that little guy doesnt kick the seat! Lol

I have the Recaro in the middle, facing forward with plenty of room. Might get some foot prints on the back of the seats and center console, but it cleans up easy.

Brought these two home from the hospital home in my evo and to school/work daycare every day. Recaro makes a nice seat.

The safest place for the baby seat is at the center of the back seat. So even with my huge recaro proride baby seat, there is plenty of room up front.

Ya #2 ruined that strategy, my oldest used to sit forward facing in the big recaro. Shes pissed now cause she can't see the center console monitor sitting behind my seat. Fortunately she's old/big enough for a booster as the Recaro wont fit behind my seat.

Rear facing, the Recaro does fit behind the passenger seat but it requires moving it up about 6", putting my wife's knees pretty close to the dash but she doesn't seem to mind.

To make it worse the DOT increased thier backward facing "recomendation" from 0-12 mo. to 0-24 mo. She hates facing backwards.

It makes me happy that there is good fathering in this thread. I see kids all the time 0-3 years old with nothing.
