Akuma Motorsports Customer Evo 8 900x, Heagames, AMS, Etc. Build

Here is another quality build we have cooking....

We are doing a Full build on our Customers Evo 8 That he had dropped off to us from another shop. We had to spend hours removing old gauges, wiring, and other items before we could even start the new goodies. The car has a built bottom end and a new HeadGames PnP head..Ferrera valves/guides...combustion chamber cleaned up...all the goods. We relocated all of the gauges to the center dash, and re-wired the lot. We fixed the fuel hangar wiring, HKS EVC, and some other little goodies. We will not be touching the alarm or the sound system at this time...customer wants to drive the car asap...ans I do not blame him.

The build consists of Akuma motorsports, AMS, Headgames, Boomba, Aquamist Parts Etc.. This is a brief overview of where we are thus far....
The Aquamist kit, turbo kit, In Mani, EX mani are in. I started the I/C piping and have to add some sensor bungs, and the Tial Q. There is a bunch of small, detail oriented stuff to do. Once we are done, this will be a killer set up. Expect 600HP on Meth and Pump!...I will tune the AEM for some serious power on Race gas as well.

Here is a preliminary list of most of the parts that we have/will be installing.... customer will add suspension/brakes/styling in the next couple of months.

- Headgames Head
- Spark Tech Ignition system
- AMS 900X Turbo Kit
- AMS Intake Manifold
- AMS Front mount intercooler
- Precision 1000cc Injectors
- Aquamist HFS-6
- Boomba Throttle Body
- Small Fan
- Full Blown Dual Fuel Pump Hangar
- STRI Guages
- Fuel Lab Regulator
- Akuma Motorsports Intercooler piping kit

Day car was dropped off

Some parts for install

The beautiful Head done by Headgames

Motor Dropped in car And Getting together.

Installing the Akuma Motorsports Intercooler Piping, And AMS intake pipe

Fixing up some wiring in the trunk as well as installing Aquamist and Battery box (Not 100% Completed)

Stay tuned for more to come this week as we progress with the build.

Looks like a mess right now. I love watching builds come together.

Quick question, how are you connecting the stock positive cables to the relocation cable? Are you using the stock fusible link or just combining all of them into one and connecting them?

I just recently connected all of them into one and bolted them to the relocation cable. Then heat shrinked them all together and taped for extra protection and secured them down. I then set up a 150 amp circuit breaker next to the battery in the trunk. This set up is working just fine, but me being a perfectionist, I can't help by think there is a better way to do it without the stock fusible link.

You don't have/use a air flow sensor?
