AM I crazy: I'm thinking of selling one of my sets of wheels and getting Enkei's

My reasoning.

I'm bored with my wheels already. I love the way Jerrell's car looks with the RPF1's. No one really ever does them in Bronze and very few do them in Black. Its typically SBC or straight silver.

The other reason is money is a little tight right now and I could a few bux to get some stuff done. Get a different set of wheels and use the difference in cost to fund some stuff I have going......kill 2 birds with one stone.

The next question would be which wheels to get rid of.....which ones would sell quicker. The TE SL's I have are super rare but to the naked eye they just look like regular black TE's (or to some ironically Rota Grids) the Works aren't as common but with Rota making a wheel that copies it I expect there to be a ton of Rota knock off's here shortly.

What do you guys think?

If I pull the trigger on this then I think I may try to go ignorant on sizing. I'm probably going to buy another set of CCW's for my car but I'm hesitant to get them in 10.5's. SO I'm thinking I could use the RPF1's as a precursor. Maybe get them in 18X10's.

Opinions. Thoughts. Buyers for either the Works or the limited edition TE's.

Pics of the wheels in question:

Works

Limited edition Volks.

What do you guys think?

I'll more then likely sell the Enkei's by the end of the year and get some CCW's next. Unless another wheel comes out that I like.

I'm out of town until the 17th but my car is at a shop so I'm having someone there take a pic with my screen name and the date so I can post either for sale.

Keep the Works, sell the TE's. Yes they are rare, but theyd sell quicker and I personally really like the Works. They are different and just go with the car.

TE37>other wheels. I just trash wheels so it's tough to justify buying them personally.

I was telling someone interested in the Works through PM a second ago most of the time people said they liked the TE's better but now I have all these people coming out saying they like the Works better now.

Y'all are not going to make it easy for me.

@wingless. Yeah I change wheels more then I buy shoes. I don't knwo why I just get bored with the look if my car quick and I sell them while they are still in like condition so I can get ma money for them.

If Ray's would just bring the gotdam SE-37K's back I would buy 2 sets of those and call it a day. My all time fav. wheel. Ihad them on my ITR before BRONZE got really popular in GA and it was by for my fav. exterior mod.

I'm kinda in the same boat. I have three sets of wheels( oem IX, te's, and oem X) and the funny thing is, the first set I always wanted have been the RPF1's but never pulled the trigger. In the enkei wheel thread I saw a set someone powdercoated matt grey and it looked sick. As far as which one of your sets to sell, thats a tough one. I'd personally lean more towards the te's because those works you hardly ever see.

No matter how played out rpf1s might be, they are still one of my favorites. I am considering getting some and shooting them in a high gloss black. Would look sick on eb!

I haven't rocked with the TE's for a while. I'm having my stuff shipped to Raleigh so I was going to switch to them in a while.

Opinions seem to be split right down the middle.

Honestly those TEs are played out, I really like the wheel cause it's light as sh** but other than there are just wack, the works are really nice but I wish the lip was a little longer, chrome lip over everything! Chrome lip on Evo = classy, go with the ccws
