My New Engine Build

Just throwing up a few pics of my new engine build,ready to go into the car now so a few run in miles and i hope to have it mapped new month :naughty: I'll try the spec list,i'll add more later if i forget bits ;

2.3 Stroker Kit
Wiesco Pistons
Arrow Rods
Kelford 272's
Balancer Shafts Removed
ACL Bearings
Ti Springs & Retainers
Full ARP Studs
Bronze Valve Guides
Head Skimmed
+1 mm Exhaust Valves
+1mm Inlet Valves
HKS 1.6mm Head Gasket
New Oil Pump
New Water Pump
AMS GT35R Turbo Kit
Tial external Wastegate
Exedy Twin Plate Clutch

Still have to sort the fuelling but focusing on getting into the car now and up and running






With the standard rocker cover...

And finished with the Evo 7 rocker painted metalic black...

Great looking build, I would love to do something like this with the extra block I have lying around. I love the Evo 7 Valve Cover.

I like how you are going to route the dump pipe back into the exhaust... As insanely mean as open dumps sound, it kills the exhaust note.

Like I said... Considering the headwork and turbo choice, I think S2s or S3s would be a much better choice.

Decent for a stock motor and FP Green, sure.

All I'm saying is for the turbo, headwork, and increase in displacement, I personally think you could see better gains with a more aggressive cam. Just my $0.02.

Ah right,will be using it mostly as a road car with odd bit of drag racing so maybe this is why the Kelfords were chose

The engine builder is a genius so i trust he'll leave the car right for the job! Cars going up monday to get the engine in so i'll keep the thread updated and get the graphs up
