Weightless White paint

i like the weightless white paint a lot , i live in new jersey where we get 4 seasons.....and yes even other states make fun of us for the amount of salt we drop on the roads..... i was speaking to my mom about how i liked the white and she said it probably wouldn't be a good idea to get white because over the years there is a tendensy for white to eventually stain or loose its pure white color.... now keeping in mind that i have 4 seasons in jersey & paint already sucks what do you guys think ?

no matter what paint or color you have, if you do not take care of it, the paint will fade, stain, and look like crap.... If you maintain your paint, like waxing every other car wash, and washing salt off the paint and under the car, then you shouldnt have a paint problem for a much longer time.

EVO White paint sucks ***. I bought the car thinking it would look fine if i had little rock chips since i take the car snowboarding alot, but it doesnt. The paint chips really easy and leaves a darker pit unlike other white cars I have seen.

Also, my paint stains like no other I have ever seen. I have stains in the paint that will not come out, even with a dab of thinner tested as a last result. Mitsu's defense...."all white paint stains, bird **** can stain the car the instant it touches white paint." This is direct from the District Manager's mouth, so I get no warranty on paint after a bird pooped on my car while sitting in their lot and recieved a permanant stain.

I love the white and all, but becareful. Paint is POS. Mitsu District Manager is POS. Mitsu warranty is POS, so becareful.

Ill prob. repaint the car after a few years to another color, so i said **** it. According to Mitsu, by then it will be polka dotted anyways since bird **** can stain so easily.

Listen, get some good wax, mothers is good, and add like 2 layers of it to protect the paint. Dont get that cheap cream wax or spray wax, it dont work as good.

I say just wash it a lot but only wax it every few months. If you keep the salt of the car you should be fine. My Evo is black and I live in WI where you can see more salt that road and so far I have seen no problems with the paint. Years to come I'm sure I will see a salt impact.

My car had just come from a professional detailer done by Mitsu when it was stained by bird poo. The bird poo was still wet when i wiped it off and was on the car no longer than a few hours MAX. This paint is poor to say the least.

But yeah I agree, im sure a good waxing does wonders. I have some stuff I got from a professional detailer that lived near me. I pretty much give the car a quick wax every week and a nice clean thorough wax every month or so.

Put couple layers of Zaino every other month and you should be good to go!
If you are really worried about salt then you can also go with some 3m clear bra
