The event was held on the Marshall Army Airfield.. Where I actually work every day It was nice to leave some marks on something I day dream about on the daily.

Forget drag racing.. This is where its at.

Was my first event and had an absolute blast.

Had a couple shots taken during some runs









This shot is worthless but kinda cool to see the roll


I posted all the gopro vides in the Video thread so feel free to check it out.

Fastest time of the day was 49 seconds and I hit 57.5 , so def. have some room for improvement.

Next event will be on some 255 azenis

I thought that to at first, then I saw the guy with a nationals level evo run and he also has no wing, so if it works for him then it's prob ok

depends on the course. if it's short, tight, and technical, no. you'd probably be better off with no wing. if it's high speed sweepers, and steady state corners, then yes it would.

Autox isn't fast enough to create downforce with the stock aero. If you guys look at the pro-setup cars that goes to nationals, their spoilers are over exxagerated to generate downforce for the speeds they get up to. The AOA on those wings are so crazy...you wont' find it on track cars.

Can't see it here on a fellow member's car; Evolutonary's One Lap Evo.

looks like you had a blast. i have also had the privilege of autox'ing at my work, also an airport. great to be out on the aprons with the planes around. dont worry about the time and the skill level, the more seat time you have the more confidence you will build in tossing your car around.
