Filmed my first crash after attending 10+ HPDE's and 30+ auto-crosses. poor evo.

Saw the video poor EVO Im wondering if the water the mustang put onto the track had anything to do with helping the evo wreck.

that guy had no chance....he was going way too fast to save that once he started turning in...should have not turned in at all, stayed straight, and hoped for the best

going too fast + taking the same line in the turn-in in a 90* turn as a 30* turn = not gonna have a good time

 

I think the accident could have been worse. Him clipping the apex prob saved him. If had missed it- he prob would have hit the exit corner parallel (to the grass and potentially rolled). glad he's ok.

 

if ya'll read the description in the video, it says the evo's brakes failed. lights came on but not stop.
also that's not his regular line, since its stated he's been around it earlier

God that was hard to watch. He hit that pretty solidly.

 

yup, they had a lot of water in MN the week before the event.

 

Jordan @ MAP said he tuned the car on a Black two days prior, he thought it had stock brake pads, which more than likely means stock fluid.
