dont mean to hijack my own thread, but if I was ever to go back to the IX aesthetics, it would be a JDM IX rear with IX spoiler and VII front....this one is soooooo hot! Dont know if this person is apart of EvoM, but if they are, kudos for one fantastic looking car...

That's Paul's VII from Australia he's on the forum but not much and yes it's easily one of the best looking VII's in the country and we have a lot of VII's here lol.

Awesome conversion!!! I'm looking into just doing the 7 rear bumper. I love how it flows with the lines in the door. It's the best looking bumper in my opinion.

Is the install for the rear bumper just like the 9 JDM conversion? Did you use a modified crash beam?

Thanks!

The rear bumper was easy, it bolted right in like a synch. I did have to take out the crash beam though and currently running without one, but the existing crash beam can be modified to fit with some cutting and welding.

Just an update, I got the VII headlights installed and went back to the OEM intercooler to have some room for reinstalling the crash beam. Also switched out my canister exhaust for an aftermarket oval exhaust.

All of it is actually custom with the exception of the muffler. The muffler is maganflow # 14828. I prefer the oval shape to the canister style, just matter of taste really.
