Haven't checked this thread in a while. I made 424whp on 91 with a rich, low timing base tune on VD but was getting knock that my tuner and I can't figure out so no progress has been made. My 3 port is overboost from an unknown reason as my boost tables are set low so I'm in the middle of tearing everything apart under the hood and pulling the pan to double check and tighten everything up to find the problems.

I got the Hafe setup as it was very cost effective and haven't had any issues in the 2K miles I've used it. The manifold, o2 housing, Tial WG, and BB 61mm turbo were pieced together for $950.

This the exhaust I have, had them build me one a few month before they started offering it online. I painted the muffler flat black to take away any unwanted attention.

Thanks. I got a few more pics going up later of the PTE6235 turbo being swapped in and if I get my Revolver cams sold quickly, I'll get those Tomei 270s in the mail.

I wrote up a thread about it last Summer. After having the car sit for 4 years with half a tank of gas, it rusted out the tank and didn't want to mess with it. I decided to put in the cell to drop weight while gaining 3 gallons extra capacity. Having another tank shipped would be no less than $240 for shipping only and reinstalling one with all the sensors and hoses would be a PITA just as it was removing.

Here's some pics of the PTE SC6152RE and the PTE 6235 aka Buschur FS635 turbos.

o

The SC61 could possibly go up for sale soon unless I want to use it on another project. The original owner made 531whp at 31psi on 93 with it.

For those who don't know, the 6235 is a Garret GT35R cartridge with a Precision 62mm compressor wheel and housing.

On another note, I found my overboosting issue being a hole in the Tial WG diaphragm.

I once again haven't checked this thread in a while. Car is still down due to swapping the turbo and the turbine housing is seized(rusted) to the cartridge and I need to clock it to fit my manifold. WG had been fixed though.

Got the turbo broke lose and clocked correctly. Finally making some progress and can't wait to get some real tuning done now that it won't be overboosting from the ripped WG diaphragm.

Thanks, I really need to drop it off at a detail shop as the paint is fading and looks super dry. I might have a pink car soon if not.
