painting the inside of the projector red does not mess with the lighting that comes out of the car when your headlights are on.

No LED. Not really sure where I would even put one if I wanted to. Just painted the shroud fire engine red.

I'm confused at how this is illegal It doesn't affect the color of the light output at all. There is no red light coming from the headlight. I've actually been complimented on it by an officer while I was being pulled over for an unrelated offense.

Just because it's red and inside the headlight housing, doesn't make it illegal.
I find it no different than a red painted headlight housing.

sure doesn't.. its just like how the 9 heads have a turquoise cut off but you don't see any of that when the lights are on

Looks great. But do you ever get pulled over or do you switch it to high beam so cops don't pull you over as you spot them?

For me, I have a LED and I have a switch that I can just turn them on/off. And like Darkness said, only you can really see the red is at night. Which I would do it only if I was parked. Never moving.

Someone clarify this for me, its the cutoff behind the low beam that is giving it the red glare. So the only time the red would be noticeable is when the lights are off? With the lights on since the cutoff is behind the bulb it will not affect/make the lights appear red in any way.

Btw great job!! I want to do this so bad but dont have the ***** to throw my headlights in the oven and open them up myself.
