Just because it's red and inside the headlight housing, doesn't make it illegal.

sure doesn't.. its just like how the 9 heads have a turquoise cut off but you don't see any of that when the lights are on

I'm confused at how this is illegal It doesn't affect the color of the light output at all. There is no red light coming from the headlight. I've actually been complimented on it by an officer while I was being pulled over for an unrelated offense.

Someone clarify this for me, its the cutoff behind the low beam that is giving it the red glare. So the only time the red would be noticeable is when the lights are off? With the lights on since the cutoff is behind the bulb it will not affect/make the lights appear red in any way.
Btw great job!! I want to do this so bad but dont have the ***** to throw my headlights in the oven and open them up myself.
