ETS 3.5 Intercooler/05 EVO8
Well, after careful review and some price matching, I've decided on the ETS FMIC for my 05' EVO8. I plan on installing myself, so I'll post some before and after pics by next weekend. Anyone got anything for me? Maybe that have done this already? I've already looked up how to do it, but helpful tips would be appreciated.

Pray to god that the holes in the 2 mounting brackets actually line up with their proper positions.
Otherwise you will have fun drilling them out bigger...And dont be surprised if you have to do some trimming behind the bumper to get it to go on without a fight.

Ok yeah, I'm sure it won't go on with out a fight, what did you use to trim the bumper? Dremel? thanks for the info, I'm getting my garage tools prepared/purchased in order to be fully geared up for the install. I hate coming up on **** once your already half way in. HEYOH

Its not a bad install. I got teh 3.5 in with no trimming. But I thought my core was slightly warped as it was dropped in shipping (didnt get it from ETS, but was a new unused core) so it was quite a challenge to get it on with trying to bend those massive tabs. I never thought to trim them out a bit. Feel kinda dumb now .
My tuner noticed quite abit of difference between my small precision core/custom pipes and the new ETS core/pipes.
Old vs New
Chasing down a air leak. (note to anybody, spray paint lids dont like 30psi...) But it was quite spectacular explosion and almost caused a bit of **** leakage.
