I considered this back when i ran the oem wing... And for the record at 150mph that wing buckles like a kid with a studder in a spelling bee... So in short good idea bro...

Probably just 1 which would be body colored with a semi large base to spread the weight, with foam (or all weather liner) in between the base and trunk to prevent scratches if it will be removed

Definitely take pics with the two and just one in the middle for comparison.

wing looks too much like subaru wrc wing, stick with 1 if you must; it'll be more like a new school TME wing.

I would just switch to an Evo8 wing. It's solid inside and does not vibrate at top gear. :}

It's different forsure. Take a few ore pics of maybe 1 in the middle and two spread out. I think it would match the jdm rear nicely.

I have been waiting for someone to do this. I have considered doing it my self, I just didn't have the time to try it out.

We tried it with just 2 and it doesn't look good. 3 looks much better.

Lately I have been wondering how well an Evo could pull off spoiler stiffeners. So before spending any real time or money into it, i chopped up some cardboard, spray-painted it, and propped them in place.

Now I realize that this is going to drive Evo purists insane. I also realize the spoiler may not need stiffening, and this may or may not have any performance gain (it may even create some performance loss)... I don't care. I just did this to see how it looks and whether or not it was worth putting in real time or money into making legit stiffi's.

So what's your thoughts? input? changes? One of my buddies thinks it would look better without the type 3 spoiler, personally I think it looks more aggressive left on and stiffi's molded around it. That being said, i'm still 50/50 on the idea. Part of me thinks it looks aggressive as f***, the other half thinks its too much.

I LOVE it! That looks so mean. Cf wrap.for sure! Keep us updated

I think three is too much. But like some other guys were saying, try taking one out and then equalling out the distance with just two stiffeners. That would probably look best. +1 for thinking differently

Nice!

It reminds me of the older STI WRC Rally wing

I have a friend that had one for his STI that I painted years ago.

It is different for sure

Nice to do something different
