These are JDM 9 headlights if I am not mistaken. The JDM 8 headlights are the ones that are flat black.

I think the JDM MR EVO has the flat black, all others have either chrome or the gloss black, I may be wrong though

Anyone know of a thread or DIY as far as correcting the cut-off shield? I too have JDM V8s. They do indeed shine into oncoming traffic. The only way to prevent this is to use the switch in car to point them all the way down. This of course then does not light up as much in front of the car. I have adjusted them the best I can but would like to know more about the cut-off shield.
