After thinking about this, not really a fan

I respect the build quality but would have been thoroughly impressed w/a full 4G63 motor, transmission, front and rear diff build. (built for the road course)

 

its cool thats forsure and different but it should have been an ls swap if anything and i too enjoy the 4g63 and think nothing else should take its place in an evo engine bay.

just messing around but it's nice. looks like a lot of hard work and time consumed. you need to bring that over here to the Formula Drift series. would be nice to see an Evo shell compared to the usual ones they already have

Huge aftermarket for them to make tons of cheap power. Also, they weigh less.

I'm not sure I'd say the 1uz is a bad decision, but it's hard to beat the LS.
