Finally got my Enkei Raijin 18x9.5 +15 wheels with tires to my door yesterday. I am alittle upset that I may have ordered the wrong size tires for the wheel, but I cant stop enjoying the look the car has now with them on. I don't know anything about wheel and tire fitiment, but the local Evo owners in my area are giving me some pointers. First set of pictures are gonna be from my camera phone, but rest assured I have some very high quality photos from my Nikon coming to this thread real soon.


By the way the tires are 255/35/r18 I rub in the front when turning, I think its the splash guard thing on both sides. Turning doesn't even have to be at full lock. I'm riding on factory suspension, so yeah. I haven't experienced any rubbing on the rear but I'm watching the rear very closely... It may have happened already.

Enjoy the new look but please sell this set-up. IMO, you ordered the wrong wheel as well.
Spend some time reviewing the wheel / tire fitment threads & you will find that +15 is way too aggressive on a stock body EVO

Are you planning on switching out your stock suspension for coilovers or springs?

I ordered the wheel specs based off of a thread in the forum. I wasn't planning on coilovers or any modifications. However I am now looking into a stuffer setup. Whatever changes I make I'll update here. Still no rubbing in the rear, which I'm happy as hell about.

 

should have ordered the +35 and got spacers. that's what I did.

 

Its been apart of my hindsight that I should have ordered smaller tires. Haven't thought of the +35s as ever an option
