actually, it's usually to prevent too much air from going underneath the car, most likely to reduce lift. And take the corvette example. It (and quite a few other american cars) has its plastic lip way under the front. If you look at the pic which was taken at a low angle, you can probably barely see it, if at all, standing near the car and looking down. He didnt do it for looks. At least I hope not?

only problem is, there's no way to measure any gain unless you have a wind tunnel. Just bring it here to Chicago and park it between a couple buildings in spring. we'll blow some smoke at it and see where it goes...

personally I think it looks good. nice and clean. not sure about the functionality but it does look good. you should do a front on shot from a bit aways.

You guys are mean and some of your cars are flat out rice! Darkstar It couldnt do much harm and it looks good. Dont hate guys this guy has a clean looking EVO a good representative if you ask me!
