Engine bay cleanup advice?

"A nice compact battery. I like this one. About 15lbs lighter than than a full oem sized one, 400cca, and doesn't leave a big gap like the true mini batteries. Cranks fine in winter...just can't let it sit for more than 6 weeks or so. I'll end up making a replacement tray , move the battery more to the right and set a catch can in the area between the uicp. I'll make an intake heat shield that will also cover all the garbage around the fuse box"

what battery is that? It looks obvously smaller then standard but abit bigger then a "mini" kit id love to get that particular battery then just buying a mini kit.

Its nothing special in the big scheme of Evos (since this is an Evo network) but local people compliment the bay on its general appearance since northeast Evos are typically beat up. I work with what I have. Its all high temp (2000 degree) paint and ss bolts. I got the radiator cus the oem had a irreparable hole in it. Clean every part that comes off and tuck things that can be.
2000 deg paint will hold up on the heat shield. It has to be resprayed every few years. Same paint on the rad fan shroud. I mismatched the valve cover paint from the rest of the silver...dummy

Inverted the fasteners on the injector harness and re-mounted under the brackets. Ditch the hard vac line from the IM for a heavy duty rubber line. There was a massive bracket in here too near the top right of the valve cover. Just take it out and fasten things out of view. I can't remember exactly all the steps but you'll figure it out. You may have to use zip ties but you can locate them discretely. Its still really busy in this area. The IM has a lot going on. That will be my next area to focus on. I've seen some oem ones that have really been cleaned up with a lot less clutter

Paint. Gloss black to match PS res, and painted the PS res cap to match the coolant res cap (they are the same silver as everything else). Simple, dorky things but it works when it looks subtle and clean and it all matches.

Not a work of art, but a long way from the standard bay
