I by no means have any idea what I'm doing with fiberglass but I have a buddy that does carbon fiber/ sheetmetal/ and fiberglass repairs on Aircraft and he is begging to try making a set of these.
it would need a flat, DTM-style arch added that would have to match the contours of the fender. kinda like this:

very difficult, i'd imagine. especially to replicate and provide proper fitment.
personally, my car is form > function, so i don't need a perfect fit. i need some! LOL

abs/frp/etc would be great! i honestly don't need CF for my application.

IMO, the Evo doesn't have the lines for this style flare. If you want to run 285's, or even 295's, get the RT-Ernie rear trailing arms, and do the Evo Dave front fender mod.

i believe the fenders for the Subarus are quite a bit cheaper than those control arms.

Love the Karlton flares on Subie's. I think it would be a pretty good market for Evo's as well.

Not sure how much these will cost but I'd imagine once you factor in paint and body work the costs will be similar. I got mine to fit under the stock body but she doesnt look pretty. Still need to snap some pics and do a writeup. But is is possible on stock rear quarters with stock trailing arms to get them to fit. Probably would have been way easier going into it though knowing I was going to use a fender flare.

But to stay on topic here Im anxious to see what these look like what's required to make them fit and how much additional space they will provide.

I think it would be interesting to see fender flares for the Evo 8/9... but the body lines are sharper and getting something that flowed would be key.. more options outside of Voltex and version select would be sweet though

Not my car, but maybe an idea of what it'll look like.

I think with a slightly less-aggressive offset wheel = perfect. I'm in.
Or maybe I should just buy the 240 flares. I literally only need +20mm.
