They are 245/40's. Just a bit taller than a 235. These tires actually rub the fender lining when the wheel is turned all the way. I've test fit some rims with 235's and they didn't rub.

Hopefully I'll have my Defi guages installed to and then I'll post pics of those too.

Man, I love the look of a lowered evo but in Detroit my air dam would be shattered inside a week.. also it's hard to give up that wheel travel. Nice car though..

That's what I was getting at - clearance. Sounds like you got it solved though! g/l.

The car looks great but i think the stock tails look better on your car. I never thoguht id say that but they went well w/ your wheel/ color combo.

I don't see it. It took me a couple days to get used to all the red after I installed them. While I was posting these pics, I came across a pic with the stock tails and it almost made me puke.

If something happens to these lights, I will buy more or at least paint the stock tails red.

Corey, that is an outstanding looking evo. What are your mods i.e., springs etc? I have a white evo and I think bronze looks best on white, red, and black evo's.

Thanks everyone. I think I can honestly say that the exterior is finished. Well....unless I can find a nice c/f splitter I like and maybe some really light tint. 35% or lighter.

As for my exterior mods I have S2000 antenna, UK Evo 8 badge, Evo 7 taillights, Tein S-Tech springs (for now), and the Volk Ce-28's.

As for performance mods and others, all I have is HKS downpipe, HKS Carbon-Ti, HKS racing suction intake, and HKS Type-0 turbo timer.

Future mods are Perrin cat delete, fuel pump, HKS 264 cams, HKS AFR, DynoFlash reflash, and I'm still researching what clutch to get.

My Defi D-Series gauges go in next week hopefully.

I actually was one of the first guys to get the "EVOLUTION VIII" badge. Adam at Z-1 was the first vendor that had them available and I was one of the lucky guys that got one from the first batch he got. I got my tails from Z1 as well. About 30 of us went in on group buy with Adam and got them for $325 shipped. Took a while, but it was well worth it.

You could also check Lancershop. I had to buy a second Evo 8 badge and they had some in stock.

Did your first badge become victim of theft?

Man, your car looks so clean, I love it. I personally like the new tails you put on... even though i do like the stock tails on red, it still looks REALLY nice on your car. Post some more pics when you put the new tires on..
