I purchased a WW Evo 8 recently that is suffering from the standard gel-coat issues on the top of the spoiler. The sides and underside look fine, but the top has a number of spots. I am hoping a local paint place can refinish the spoiler by sanding down to the carbon and re-clearing it. My fear is that they won't be able to get down far enough to truly fix the issue OR they will go too far and mess up the carbon weave.

Anyone have any tips or tricks I can pass along to the shop? Looking for ACTUAL advice, not theoretical or hypothetical.
