Tints?

Tints?
Has anyone had any problems with their tints? I have 20% and everytime I roll down the window something catches the tint and scrapes a little bit off!!! Does this happen to anyone else?

I have 5% around, which I beleive is slightly thicker then 20%, and not rubbing so far. Is it scratching at the top or the bottom of the window? Make sure all your tracks are clean.

PRVRT, if your still under warranty take it to the dealer and show them, they should be able to adjust the window in it's frame (to some degree). If it's not, do as suggested above, pull the inner door covers off completely and watch the window rolling up and down. Do you hear any scratching or resistance when you roll up/down the window?

I would say it's a proble with your car, not the tint. Installing tint is a fairly simple process, and if done by good installers, should last virtually forever. Rip that door apart, or take it to your dealer if you haven't added a new turbo hah.

How did they install the tint? some installers take out the door panel and some dont... the ones that do might have messed something up when putting the door panel back on... just open up your door panel and see what is loose and scratching your window.... this happened to my bimmer and had it fixed
