SEM products are the best way to restore finish on plastic parts. I have been detailing cars some 35 years. have tried EVERYTHING. SEM products are nothing short of amazing.

How long does that last? Also, how about exterior durability with rain and what not.

I might suggest looking into ceramic coatings for plastic, they will have much more longevity than oil or water based products. I know Adams makes one, and I'm sure others do as well

I love most megurairs products, but for some reason I thought their "Back to black" trim restorer was the worst one they every made.

I had the same experience. It looked great for about 3 days, then it was back to gray.

As crazy as this may sound, the "As Seen on TV" Wipe New worked well for me. I've had it on for about 9 months (did the windshield cowing, and side mirrors and even sealed my headlights with it after it was wet sanded and polished) and it still looks like I first applied it. On a side note: Silverevo's signature line is hilarious! "SH*! some Evo parts buyers say....
1 If that was only for sale last (week, month, day)!....
2 Imma buy that off you with my next paycheck!....
3
Ya i'll be at the meeting spot in an hour!.....
4 If ONLY it was (Blue, Black, Gold, Purple,White, Pokadot) Id be ALL OVER dat!....
5 If it's still for sale next month, it's mine!....
6 Will you take 60% off your asking price!
My friend said he saw one cheaper!......
7 Can you bring it to my place?......where am I you
ask?.... like75 miles away dats cool right?
8 If I didn't just break my evo I'd buy that off you TODAY!....
9 If only you were closer I would buy that TODAY!.....where am I you ask?....like down the block?
etc etc....
The word "Bro" can be added before or after each sentence above or in combination"

The fumes from Wipe New turned my garage into a hazmat scene for almost a week. The shine faded before the fumes did.

you are super gullible to buy a waaay over priced junk product. thats just fancy advertising at its finest. I mean "ceramic" ? you realize ceramic is what your kitchen plates are made of? yes durable. so great sounding. but what part of this wipe on liquid do you think is actually ceramic??? dumb dumb dumb

they make a trim black. use for anything black on the exterior. metal or plastic. durability is as good as original. so if your original mirrors faded after 5 years the new sem finished mirror would fade in 5 years under the same conditions.

the results on plastic as stated are nothing short of amazing. its more like a die than it is a paint. cant flake or chip as the material actually absorbs into the finish. its also not very fussy. you dont have to have perfect prep. I have sprayed stuff with no prep at all. still shocking how good it works. just blends right in. its about 14 for a spray can. but can also be mixed in quarts to match any color or shade.
