I love this shift knob. Pictures from my install today
Shifting the car is easier and feels smooth with this knob. This is one of the best mods

is it just me, or is the narrowness of our evo shifter extremely ugly, its always bothered me lol...

what online dealer has good deals on shift knobs ? .. I have the mitsu aluminum one .. and like it .. but I lost the topper piece and it looks like ****. (anyone have an extra topper ? ) Prolly just end up buying a new one

Looks better installed...but leather on top would've matched the steering wheel better IMO.

What ^ said, heavier knobs usually mean more precise shifts, and faster ones at that.

I took my washer out, and the knob now sits as low as it possibly can on the shifter (you can push it all the way down). Makes the length shorter and you eliminate any wiggling on the shift knob. It's awesome.

yes it is heavy, and wow is there a difference in shifting. I have not missed 2nd since i got the new shift knob, and shifting is much easier and less of you using force.
