that is another alternative opposed to buying a whole new trunk

Wing or No Wing, or small wing. I have seen all three in person. I like my "big" wing, and have gotten used to it. There are a few times that I think about installing the OZ wing or the new Lancer RallyArt wing (anyone done this yet), just to give the car a more relaxed look.
The thing about the wing blocking the rear view has been changed in the newer Evos. I have one of the first ones here. Mine was the first one brought to the Greensboro area and the rear view mirror is much lower than my friends Evo, which was bought a couple months ago. The rear view is better with his mirror, than mine. The only reason we noticed it, is because it was his second Evo.
Also, I have read that the small wing will not be on the Evo for 2004.

i love the wingless look. the only thing i don't like is that huge bland rear end. where can you buy a jdm rear bumper?

I wonder how a lip spoiler would look like... (like the one they make for the wrx, not as mild as the m3 one)

According to Mitsubishi, the wing starts to become effective (providing down force to counter the body's aerodynamic lift) above 85 MPH. The faster you go, the more down force created.

Wingless = Sleeper. Since I'll be using my Evo to go to work, I might take out my wing so no one will bother my car. Leaving my Evo in the parking lot for more than 1 hour makes me worry so much. I think wingless is the best option of less attention.

even if you do take off the wing to try to make it look like a "sleeper" people who know will still know that its an evo, i get worried leavin it in a parkin lot for more than an hour too but thats somethin you gotta deal with especially when you have a car that a lot of people want and know about, theres nothin really you could do

Winged all the way, without it makes it look dull and takes away from the car
