Bride Seats

Anyone know where to get Bride Seats for a good price? Also i know the bride seats are tight. Which model would offer more support up top and the leg?Any help even maybe from anyone who has sparcos or momo?

**** man, i consider myself pretty hefty (36 waist) and always seem to be bracing my leg against the door while cornering. i'd say the tighter the better mang

but other than that i'm no help whatsoever

If you want a similar size and fit, why bother getting new seats. Brides are not cheap and the only reason to switch would be size, fit and comfort. The stock recaros are actually pretty light. I chose to go with another seat myself because the recaros gave me no support in cornering. Dont waste your money just to have a "Bride" seat in your car.

I would not get them just for the name. But for more support. I guess i should have asked differently. I am looking for a seat that is the simliar but has more support up top and in the legs and is adjustable.

hmmmm, interesting. i could have sworn that 90% of the racing cars in Japan uses them including rally teams. i have brides and trust me, show is not their forte but support is.

I agree that Bride seats are not show seats. What is a show seat anyways? Many of the top racers in Japan use bride

well my guess is that there are some seats that are made to look like "racing" seats but they probably aren't very lightweight, don't have a good material that is resistant to slipping, and maybe they just don't hold you in as well as seats that were really designed to be used in racing. I don't know though, but I would imagine that you could find seats that look the part but don't perform like a real racing seat.

Hey eclipsegs2k1, yea i have them. THey are the best seats you can possibley get. You thought those recaros were good. You should try these brides then cause there is way more support than the recaros. Also like snir said they are used all through japan. Only down side is they cost alot.

either superstreet or import tuner few months ago did a very comprihensive test on seats that compared in details features like weight, comfort/fit , construction etc and they also addressed approval to be used in races by diffrent sanctioning bodies
when i go home tonight i can look for that issue if you want

batty - are you looking for a reclining seat or a race bucket?

The Ergo II is good for guys over 180 lbs or so - much easier to get in and out of. I am 5'11 about 190 and the Ergo II are totally comfortable for everyday, and offer way more support than the stock Recaro, which I find to be lacking in support in the lower back area, and the shoulders are way too wide for me (keep in mind though in terms of a stock seat, they are nice)

The Brix II are best suited for smaller guys, especially because the thigh bolster comes up much higher than on the Ergo

Let us know - we sell em, and have some in stock.

Batty,

i got my gardation BRIX II from Adam @z1 and altough they weren't cheap, Adam gave me a good deal and they are just amazing. BRIDE is quality and i would buy another set in a sec. if they are show seats than i really don't know what racing seats will feel like....
