That's true... I remember being on clubrsx once and reading some guy mention the exhuast was actually like 2.8 inches or so...

Good to see an Apexi N1 Lover... Thats all I put on my mitsubishi's...All 3 had Apexi's. They come with a sound reducer that goes into the exhaust muffler. Its not loud enought that I cant talk at 75mph whatsoever. I will admit that it is louder than average, but I have heard alot louder as well.

I can only speak for the N1 on my old Eclipse GST. It was not very loud at all compared to most of the fartpipes I see every day, even with no cat. It came with an adapter that could mate to the stock cat, or take the cat out and hook it to an Apexi downpipe. Bad thing was it threw a CEL after 200 miles or so and I would have to reset it all the time. Is that the same thing with the one for the EVO?
