Angry My car was egged last night =(

Someone decided to egg my car last night and it of course did damage. There were 2 hits and both chipped the paint where it hit the car another . It didn't leave a dent on the door so just how thin is the factory paint?

Angry

it is the clearcoat that will eat away. If it sat all night......it's as good as off to the body shop. Sorry to hear that!

you better get it washed off quick.. i mean i would even take off work and get it all off.. and a nice coat of wax too.... unless the chips are major, i would just hit it with touch-up paint and polish it up too

i used to work on a car lot...I have seen what egg does to paint/clearcoat... ****s it up pretty good. Our lot was egged one night and washing it did absolutely nothing after being exposed that long. My .02- if insurance will cover it, the hell with touch up paint, get it properly fixed to avoid damage.

Yeah when i discovered it this morning I washed it all off, ran my hand across the clean wet surface and the paint didn't feel different in any of the areas. Definately getting waxed ASAP.

I got my Evo last October and on Devil's night my car got egged. It was on the drivers side so I noticed it in the morning and cleaned it off. If only I saw it happen

My car was egged aroudn the time when I first got it too. One egg hit my car and there were tiny little spots of paint that got chipped off from the impact of the egg. Its not that noticable but it still sucks knowing that it happened. Sorry bro!

I live in the 562 area code as well and was wondering if you are the white evo on woodruff and artesia?
