Hey guys,

I recently sold my EvoVII tails (I got bored of them.... sue me ) and opted for the MR tails. I'm a little mixed on how they look on the blue, to be honest. But I do think they look slightly better than the JDM/UK tails I have on them now. Comments/suggestions/flames? Oh, and I sold my EvoVII tails cause all of a sudden they seemed too "patriotic" with the red, blue, and white stripes on the tails... dunno. Go figure.

 

I think either one works on blue. blue is 1337.

I had the same problem. I struggle with getting the evo 7 tails for months and finally decided the red tails on the bright blue JUST DOESN'T MATCH. It looks like a spiderman costume. I have the euro spec evo 8 badge and I think that it matches the stock tails and that is why I left them on. The MR's look great but I would want to change the headlights to mr's as well for it to match. Then you have to rewire the fogs to get them to work. It all comes down to how picky you are. I thought long and hard and decided to stay with the stock tails. In my opinion BBY is the only evo color where the altezza tails ACTUALLY look better than the 7 tails.

 

Thanks for the input guys. I think I am leaning towards the MR tails solely because the chrome is a little too much. Though I think either way they still look better than the stock (that's too much clear/chrome for me!).

I actually do intend on getting my headlights blacked out sooner or later - but my Evo is a daily driver, so I don't know how I will be able to get around without headlights on my car...

 

MR is my choice!
