Side Mirrors
#2
i thought about doing this.. i imagine the costs would be high. (My garage is narrow, i fold my drivers side mirror every time). Someone out there posted instructions on doing it for a subie wrx. Was pretty cool. But a PAIN IN THE ****. IF the wiring harness is already set up for the switch (I doubt it) then it's easy. but imagine having to snake the wire through... getting new connectors.. splicing, soldering....

yeah, i've done this on my old civic. the mirror view is a pain in the ****, but i figure i can swap the actual mirrors straight from jdm to usdm this time.
it took me about 2 days and several books of curse words to figure out with a piece of crap diagram to reference. but it's so worth it in the end i think. it's like transformers! ....not really....

aren't the ganadors rhd? i had to deal with that nonsense when i had the civic... it's a headache after a while. direct jdm replacements will be incognito (less worry about thieves) and i can swap the mirror pieces themselves
