Finally Wide Body Evo!!!
#24
Wow! that is one of the nicest widebody kit for our EVO, APR really did a good job desiginng this kit, can't believe it's 45mm wider than stock ! great news for all the high HP EVOs, no more loose traction with 10 or 11 inch wheels on it.

HKS spent $2 million USD on their carbon monster ... That car uses 265's. I can't imagine why anyone would want to stuff 295's ...
Will this kit be mass produced and if so will it be add on pieces or major body work?
There is a handful of wide front fender kits selling being sold. Good enough to stuff 265's under there. Varis makes a nice one with optional air route cooling vent for brakes. Good function and looks.

FYI - the purpose of the fender flare is to reduce aerodynamic drag created by the spinning tyre and wheel. Believe it or not, the tyres create a lot of drag. If you can shield off the tyre with a widebody flare and get the tyre out of the flowstream, then you can gain some aerodynamic slipperiness, and use wider wheels/tyres.
