just one thing though...advan rgs are pretty much cast, not forged.

tomei BOV
Not sure how to verify whether a BOV is increasing my performance. It's more a theoretical thing as can't feel it. So it's more about sound and reliability.
This particular BOV is really quiet. So quiet infact I can barely hear it unless windows are down. So if you like that PSHHHH, this probably isn't the unit for you. It's not very impressive looking either, looks almost stock, cept polished and has tomei on it. On that same note, tomei is more about performance, less fuss, they obviously spent less on "looks" so may be it is better performing (or they get stock ones from mitsu and rebadge like Spoon ... haha). Plus my ECU is tomei so not that it makes any diff, but closer the match, the better.
I got it cos i didn't want it to be so loud, more stealth and heard these were really reliable. HKS and Blitz BOV's go bad all the time.

But the roads look a lot like Grand Turismo, lots of twisties with candycane barriers, mountain roads, but grade F pavement in some places though.

Evo as you guys know is all time AWD and zippy lil motor.
The evo is good on small windy roads, twisty circuits, where as the skyline is for bigger open roads, large apex's, hwy ... Evo ver good low to mid end. Skyline keeps pullin and pullin at high end but the lag is a problem.
From the factory, Evo is a superior car. It's more or less ready to go with good suspension setup and exhaust where as a skyline needs atleast an ECU, boost up, and exhaust ... then suspension needs a lot of help.
Can't say which one I like more... that's why I got both. I love JAPANESE metal.
