I just started sanding intending to fix the holes. I m using 80 to 2000 grits. Now only at 200 or so, probably finish w/ wet sanding to give to butterly look. then spray w/ clear coat half donzen times for protection...
So, it looks better huh?
It's taking me several hours just to start cuz have to finish patching. You could probably knock it off over two weekends doing really carefully...

You can sort of see the crosshatch pattern in the paint on my wing. I assumed it was all CF but prolly not going to sand it down. but I definitely wouldnt flame someone who did.

If you guys do sand the paint off. Sand the whole wing. Then Make sure you take it to a bodyshop and have the whole wing cleared. If you dont the sun will fade the carbon fiber and make it look like $hit.
