Suspension Clunk
Over time there has been a great deal of talk about suspension clunking noises (over large bumps, etc) but I have never read if anyone resolved the issue.
Has anyone got under the car and found something loose (e.g. drop links), tightened it and subsequently resolved the issue?
Or is it the case that the bushing material for the bars is making noise and that is what we are hearing?

I would like some more info on this too. I've been hearing the front suspension clunking everytime I pull in/out of my apartment driveway or go over anything more than a 1" bump. My gym parking lot is the WORST EVER, good lord. It would be nice to resolve this but it's probably just inherent to the car.

I have more or less decided that it's a feature

My car started after running it over a bad track near work.
The sound is as if the drop links or strut is loose. But it the front and rear of the car. The common element is the drop links.

Excellent keep us posted. My clunking only comes from the front. I have had to brake hard over a few bumpy roads, one time the wheels even hopped.
Aside from these Rochester roads being ****ty as all gittup, I can't see why this would be happening, but it's starting to not bother me anymore.

In other words the bar binds up and breaks free. What is the bushing material?
