Buschur's Quick-Release Harness Bar Final Production Run
FINAL PRODUCTION RUN/GROUP BUY - OVER!!
Are any of you guys interested in Buschur's Quick-Release Harness bar? It's a harness bar you can QUICKLY remove WITHOUT tools - benefits being obvious.
Information found here:

This is the ONLY harness bar for a street evo/weekend warrior, where you can actually retain the function of the back seats for your normal driving purposes. (After using the quick release to take it off)
For those of us who want more than a CG lock but less than a permanent harness bar or cage, and don't want rear seat passengers wearing helmets every time they get in the car..
Also provides some chassis support in what is otherwise the most open part of the chassis
For anyone interested in building a "street" evo that will still do autocross and trackdays, I think it's an innovative part for what I thought was a fairly big market.

Just because we are consumers, doesn't mean that we need to accept every price offered by vendors. I think Mr. Buschur should give us a valid reason why such a huge price hike, especially for a group buy, before anyone purchases one. The difference in gross revenue off of the old prices is $1500 vs. $2375 new price, assuming 5 orders. The cost of materials couldn't have gone up that much...

Depends on how much profit you want - seems like $300 was breakeven for whatever production numbers were originally. I don't think cost is any higher, but I think it's just not worth the hassle for him unless he'll make original profit off of it. He said the producer had some of the spare portions just lying around.

I want one of these. I just don't have the funds for it.
There are a few things I wanted to get before this, but if he is ONLY going to make 5 more I may have to move it up the list a bit.

I'm def Interested alot keep me posted. I'd just like to know as well what do I have to do to install these? and 475 seems pretty high considering I'd still be out the harness for the seat as well...looking at almost 800-1000 bucks for this... Also how strong are these quick release pins? I mean if (lord forbid) I was to get into a bad roll would these withstand the impact and not make me a box of kleenex being tossed around inside my car?
