17x9 +35 Enkei PF01SS Confirmed Fitment

I have been looking for a cheap 17x9 wheel that will fit an Evo 8 and 9 with no fender mods or spacers for well over a month now.

Sure there are other choices out there, but they cost much more $ than these.

I am lucky enough to live near the Enkei warehouse in Fort Worth, TX. I called Enkei up and spoke with Chris, he could not confirm whether they would fit or not. At first the answer was yes then followed by the fitment guy saying they would. I wanted to make double sure of the fitment for the benefit of the Evo community. Chris was nice enough to let me check out the fitment before I bought them. I test fitted the Silver and Black, that's all Enkei had available at the time. There is also supposedly a white with polished lip, and a black with polished lip on their site, but they could not confirm at the time I was there when these would be available in the same offset.

The fitment of these wheels seems great. Caliper Clearance on the front is great. I did not measure but at least 5-7mm. It looks closer than that in the pics. I say seems because I have not mounted any tires to the wheels yet and will not have the opportunity to do so for quite awhile. I am going to sell my stock tires and other wheels before buying tires. I will post up pics of the wheel/tire combo as soon as possible.

The only downside is that they weigh 18.65lbs in 17x9, but for what I paid for them I cannot complain too much.

I then called Dan at Assaultech and he arranged it so I could pick up the wheels from Enkei the same day! He was absolutely great to deal with! If you want these wheels for a fair price, he is the ONLY guy to talk to. He beat everyone else's price for these wheels by a huge margin. I talked with almost every vendor on evom about these btw......

Enkei can sell you the 75mm Aluminum Hubcentric Rings for these at the same time as you buy these wheels. Just ask Dan @ Assaultech and he can hook you up with those.

Enkei's part numbers are :
460-790-6535sp (silver)
460-790-6535bk (black)
AHR756710A (Hub Rings)

I hope this helps some people out there in Evo Land who need an affordable 17x9 wheel.

I want to be clear. Dan and Enkei only gave me a good deal on the wheels, I did not benefit from this whatsoever.

I would like to thank Chris at Enkei for bringing the jack you see in the Pics, he went out of his way to help me.

I'd like to say the same "Thanks" to Dan as well. He was so patient and always willing to help.

Man those look great too, thanks for leg work! I want 2 new sets of wheels that do not require spacers either. Do they come in a 18 also?

Hey, No Problem at all I was glad to do it!

Here's the links to the PF01 Line. The link to the size chart for the PF01 does not work for me. Use this link to see what sizes come in 18in for the PF01 line ONLY. This link does NOT include the PF01SS.

The PF01SS only comes in 17in according to Enkei. The PF01 however does come in 18in but I cannot confirm fitment of the 18's sorry. I wanted to ask Chris at Enkei to try some 18's, but to be honest with you, I thought they were going out of their way enough already. They had to unbox several wheels, and they are actually a small operation (personnel wise) and were very busy on the phones while I was there. The warehouse however was huge. They had 50,000 wheels (approximately) in stock.

I think for the black you listed a wrong PN. 460-790-6535BK should be correct.

No I am sorry I didnt. I was parked between two cars and a set of stairs, it was crowded. I will post pics to this thread once I get the tires mounted.

I grabbed a set of these for track duty, and will advise if you're running aftermarket suspension, and have camber maxed, you're gonna need spacers or camber plates to keep the tire away from the struts..

Just a heads up. with max camber, the wheel is just, and i mean, JUST missing the springs on my kw3's, without tires mounted. with mounted? no way you'd get them on

Any Pics of your setup with tyres mounted? Im conetmplating getting a set of these but i want to make sure the dish looks in proportion with the rim size.

What sort of camber are you running? Im on KW v3's running a street alignment -1.5F & -1R, I hope this will be ok with a 255 or 265
