I am pretty much set on getting Goodyear F1 GS-D3's for my stock evo wheels, for wear & ride quality reasons.

For those of you who have purchased these tires:

Would you recomend the stock tire size as replacements?

If not, why?

What size did you get or recomend?

If you want to use a larger size, many have had luck with the 245/40-17

Thanks neal for the reply. By going with a 40 series tire, how much ride quality will I be giving up?.....I know we arent talking about a lincoln town car here, but I prefer something that gives a softer ride on our crappy roads if possible. Are wheel dents an issue with a 40 series tire too?

It is a shorter tire, but better riding than the Advan by nature.
