I put a set of stock MR springs and struts on my '05 Evo VIII about six weeks ago. I bought them off this forum for $900 shipped. They bolted right in to place with no drama and the ride is somewhat less harsh, but I am not sure that the gains are enough to justify the expense. YMMV.

Mr. Dirty Harry,

Good info. I am sitting on the fence trying to decide if I should do the same? Give me a percentage of how much better the ride quality is. Also, does the car "roll" more in hard cornering?

Thanks-

I don't think that the car "rolls" any more in hard cornering, however I added a Hotchkis rear sway bar at the same time as the MR struts and springs so it is hard to isolate what is influencing changes.

Overall I would say ride quality improved about %15 percent, not a dramatic difference. The improvement is most noticable on small bumps that I used to feel with the stock struts but seem to get sucked up by the Bilsteins. Larger bumps seem nearly as harsh as before, but I suppose that is to be somewhat expected.

It lean a little more on initial turn in but then take a set, I don't think overall "roll" is anymore than the standard evo suspension.
