Just installed Hotchkis Springs on my Evo
I just finished installed the Hotchkis springs on my car. The install took about 4 hours from start to finish. I am extremely pleased with the results. The ride is similar if not a little smoother around town, and I have not had time to really push it yet in the turns. Here are a couple of before and after pictures just for the records.
I will have you note that I am running at 245/45/17 tire on it that does fill the fender well a littler better than the stock tires. I have had no issue with rubbing on this tire size.

Tak555: I do not have the hotchkis rear sway. I really hope to have some coilovers before racing starts up again next year.
The car handles great. You can really feel the progressive rate springs working. As you start to turn in it feels about like the stock suspension and then all of a sudden the body stops rolling and you just turn!! I was hoping to just maintain the stock handling and get rid of the hideous fender gap, but this car definetely handles better than it did with the stock springs.
I think that the springs settled in a little more since those pictures. I just put them on and rolled it out of the garage. Now that I have put about 20 miles on it I think that they have settled in a bit. Not sagging, just settling. I love them, and I reccomend that every Evo owner gets them. Such a huge improvement and I only paid 120 shipped!

the price is unbeatable.... i was able to get the springs and swaybar for $290. you can't even get some springs for that price, alone. i'm stoked that they seem to improve the handling characteristics of the car.

I was about 2 inches in the front and about an inch in the rear. I would say there is about 3/4 of an inch between the tire in the front and the rim.
I am really really happy with these springs.

Two inches? Sounds like a faulty install. They are NOT that low. Compare to the front of the S-Techs. THAT's 2 inches in front. That's like below the tire line. If you have 3/4 from the tire, that's like 1.25-1.5 lower. Just like they should be.

true, but that really shouldn't effect how much the car lowers.... even 1.75" is quite a bit. my understanding that it was between 1.25" and 1.5".

Damn I paid $125 shipped for mine.
Can't wait to get mine... today I think. 
Did u install yourself? The drop should be around 1.5" in front and 1" in rear. Cause if it was lower than that I wouldn't have gotten them due to how bad Detroit roads are. Hopefully the springs will make my new wheels/tires look even better, handle better and ride just a bit softer over the potholes. Can't beat it for the price. But damn.. I can't stop spending money on this car.
