what size tires for 18x8 rims?

what size tires for 18x8 rims?
Most 18' rims for evos seem to be 8.5 or 9" wide. I just bought some 18 x 8 Buddy Clubs. What size tires will work? will 225/40/18 work?

It will work but i recommend 235/40-18 tires. Goodluck!

I would not run 225, 235 or even 245....
