Alignment after lowering the car
Sup guys, i m thinking about getting Hotchkis springs on my car, after i got the car lowered, i know that i need to get the car alignmented, so my question is that should i align it to the stock spec or is there a new spec that i need to align to. also do i need some kind of aftermarket camber kit that i need to buy enable for me to get the alignment done, or the stock camber is adjustable up till 1.5 inch lowered. help me out here please, thanx =)

Stock adjustment should be pretty close but to get the best of it you will need the front camber kit. On mine Tien drop, the wheel alignment shop did their best but I could use the front and back camber kit. Most guys that i talked to didn't need the rear, it depends on how good your car was made.

i have the tanabe GF210 springs, 1.5 front drop and 1.0 rear drop and i highly recommend getting the alignment adjusted. I wasnt able to get the alignment done right away after the install, so i had to wait a couple days. But i do remember the car feeling awkward, and not as stable (out of character for the evo). Once i got the alignment I could truly feel the benefits of the lowering job. The car felt more surefooted than ever, it was great. By the way, my front camber before aligning it was at +3.2 degrees, not the recommended -1 to -2 range.
