Turning drilled rotors?

Is it possible to have drilled rotors machined? Is it ok for the rotors? Any help would be great.
Thanks!

They can be turned. I am not advocating that you do so.

I had my slotted rotors turned, no problem. I took them down too the machine shop and they turned them. I asked if the slotted or drilled rotors were a problem and he said 'no'...

FWIW, I tried the slotted and plain rotors on the track for numerous sessions and there was no difference in stopping distance or fade resistance. I use Performance Friction pads which do not out-gas. Since I couldn't tell any difference with the slotted rotors I went back to plain and saved some money.

All turning the rotor does is make it thinner. A thinner rotor will warp quicker.

I didn't know you can get drill/slotted rotors turned. I thought it would mess up their machine. News to me.
