How are they in the wet? Do you know how they compare to the old azenis. I was thinking about getting some 255-40-17 for my new rims to save some $ over the BF KD or the Bridg S03.

I have had them for about a week now. 275/40/17 on 17x9 rims. These things are huge! Took a little work the get the rears to fit in the fenderwells, but finally got it.
These have a little more road noise than the stock advans, but that may be due to the wider contact patch also. Have not had them in the rain or in warm temps yet (still some snow in place here). I really can't directly compare them to the advans because I added coilovers at the same time I got these tires.
Overall, though, all I can say is WOW! These things grip hard. I even lifted my inside rear tire off the ground today just taking a hard 90 degree corner in town! I can push it alot harder on the exit ramps to the freeway too. So far I have been to places where the Advans would have started crying for mercy (squeeling around turns) but the Falkens have never shed a tear. I have not yet gotten them to squeel while cornering hard. The just slide nice and smooth while cornering under power.

Whitet777 - thank you for clarifying that point. I agree 100%. I tried in my post to mention that I was running wider tires, coilovers, etc. - so my intent was not really to compare the A046 with the RT-615, but rather to give my first impression of the new tires.
I do believe though, that if the Advan A046 came in a 275 width that it's price would be at least $100 per tire more than the RT-615, and without a significant performance advantage.
I will post pics tonight.
