The BBS's should still be a 17x8, and a 245/40-17 has been used before. Since this is a new launch to North America I'm not sure how long it will take them to add sizes to their lineup.

Neal what's the deal with the tire must be stored above 14 deg F to avoid tire damage, according to their website. So can I not use this?
In NY the weather goes down below 0 in the winter.

That tire will fit wheels 7.50 to 9.00" wide. Should be just fine

will it strech the A046 making it round on the side wall , I know i can go to a 255/40/17 but I like the 45 series on the side wall , And most 245/45/17 are around .4 " taller than the stock tire , what would you do ,

Shouldn't make the sidewall bulge at all, but instead should sit more square on the wheel. The 255's are closer to the original tires diameter, but are much wider.

They help release heat buildup in shoulder area of the tire. Keeps it a bit cooler during harder cornering conditions.

Ouch, those are even pricier than the Michelin PS2's I was looking at. How come they don't make it into the Max performance summer category???

Will the stock 046 handle better than the Neova?

My bet is that the Neova won't be able to beat the A046 in terms of handling and steering response The only reason I say is that the A046 are made specifically for the EVO so a generic tire (even one like the Neova) may not compare, but i could be totally wrong to.

Neal - When you guys do the test, can you please do a test with an EVO and compare the stock Yoks, Neova, BF KDs etc. That would help us a lot. thanks

I read somewhere on this forum that the Advan Neova's beat the A046's at Tsukuba. The Neova's were about 1.3s+ faster than the A046's on an Evo 7.

ADO7's are OEM for the Lotus here in the states. I believe the tire size that Tirerack carries is for the Lotus.

Neal do you have any updates on the Nova arrival? I'm in the market for a set of tires for my new rims, and I'm debating now wheather to get these or Bridgestones S-03 since you have them on sale now.
