This is what they said about the dampening rates compared to an EVO 7:
EVO 7 EVO 8 EVO 8MR
Front 100% +4 to 0% -27 to -30%
Rear 100% -3 to -18% -32 to -45%

I installed the Hotchkis springs afew weeks ago on my 05 MR. For some reason, the rear isn't lowered all that much compared to the fronts. I know when I had them on my 03, the rear wasn't as high. Still, car handles great, no complaints

WORKS MR springs here.
Relatively comfortable on the street and my times at the WGI, Mt. Tremblant and LRP allow to run with and often out pace Z06's and 993TTs (see my sig for power).
If you don't want to deal with coil overs or messing with your suspension geometry, buy the WORKS MR springs and stock MR struts. Having camber plates is nice for extra adjustability. You will not suffer buyer's remorse.
I have an extra set of WORKS MR springs/MR stock struts and WORKS camber plates for local pickup if anyone is interested (Chatham, NJ).

Just installed some Swift Spec-R springs last night. On my test drive to make sure I didn't mess anything up, and important to note that this was before getting the car aligned, I attacked a cloverleaf interstate turnaround at a little more than the usual speed I take the turn and it actually rotated in the rear a little bit....instead of the front sliding out like it usually does when I go too fast on that corner. I could feel it on the verge of letting go so I lifted slightly and finished the turn with the car still pointing in the right direction. I know after more time the slight tendency for oversteer will be very welcome, and I have no doubt that Swift designed the springs to assist with the Evo's tendency to understeer from the factory. The other thing I noticed is that the car is more responsive under acceleration, since the car doesn't squat as much in the rear with the Swift Spec-R's. Other than that, I have to agree with what everyone else's positive experience has been with these springs. I was skeptical/hopeful that these springs would live up to the hype, and they met/exceeded all of my expectations. Pretty much as good as I could expect a factory suspension to perform without moving up to a full coil-over upgrade.
One final note....let me just say that after about 10 years of working on Honda suspensions, the Evo suspension is ridiculously easy to work on.
