Lug nut specs for Evo 8/Enkei RPF1?
Just got a set of RPF1s in 17x8.5x +40 from Gruppe-S - great vendor, delivery, they clear brakes perfectly, hub rings fit, life is good.
Except - the stock lug nuts with the captive washers aren't going to fit on these puppies.
Anyone have the specs for lug nuts (diameter, thread pitch) with the proper style (60 degree cone?) for the Enkei wheels?
Additionally, any suggestions on where to get cheap lug nuts? I don't need $250 anodized knurled nuts handcrafted of unobtainium. I just need lug nuts, preferably open-ended, to hold the damn wheels on the car.
If it were a Camaro I'd buy them by the box from the dealer, don't quite know where to go for the Evo.

Thanks Cal, but the mere fact that you ask what color I'd prefer means you're about 4x above what lug nuts are worth to me.
"Hexagonal" pretty much summarizes my requirements.
I picked up a box at AutoZone today, so I'm good. FWIW, our lugs are 12x1.5. Anyone notice that there's about a quarter inch more stud exposed on the rear hubs than the fronts?
As an aside, I've owned a number of cars (Camaro, Corvette come to mind) where, while the wheel was held on by five impressive lug nuts, the entire hub/rotor/wheel assembly is only held onto the steering knuckle by three measly 8mm (shaft) bolts. It's very sobering to see, especially when you're changing the hub out and one of the bolts is snapped...
