just put k-sport coilovers on.. questions!

is the only way to raise and lower the car by spining the bottum part that bolts up to the hub...

that would mean that i would have to get my car realigned evertime i unbolt that to adjust the height...

someone help me w/ the raiseing and lowering.. its there an easier way?

im skeptical about getting coilovers because i heard that you do have to re-align everytime you adjust height. i hope you find the answer!!! ask the other dude that has them on his car. ill reply back with his name if you need it, i think its ipifiny or something. good luck

You would have to have your car aligned, no matter which coilover you have, if you adjust the height. The camber will change with the different heights.

Well once you get this figured out I'd like to hear your thoughts on these coilovers. I've had my eye on them but haven't seen enough reviews to sway me to buy them...

Looks like a threaded body design to me? Do the EVO's look different than those pictured?

I can only speak about the Buddy Club install, but the K-sports look similar. On the Buddy Clubs, you do not have to unbolt the bottom of the coilovers where it attaches to the suspension to adjust ride height. All you have to do is turn the threaded portion of the coilover in or out depending on which way you have to go for your ride height. The threaded portion should spin freely from the rest of the coilover. Just make sure the jam nut isn't tight on the bottom of the thread. I had to use a strap wrench for one of the coilovers because it was a little stubborn, but the rest all turned freely.

Hope that helps,
Tim

Whether you need to unbolt it or not, it doesn't matter. If you change the ride height, you need to get an alignment, regardless of the adjustment method.

I'm just thinking that adjustable spring perches are easier than unbolting the coilover from the LCA. Seems like the K's have a silly design, if this is true...
