Need a good alignment shop in greater Chicago area!
My car badly needs an alignment. Need some good references for an alignment shop in/around Chicago. I don't mind driving a while to get there, but they MUST be able to do a proper alignment, including setting the camber on my stock suspension.

There is actually a really good place in Glenview/Northbrook called Thalmann's Alignment. They have really nice equipment and are very knowledgable. They have worked on all sorts of pro race cars and such. And the owner, Todd, is a really cool guy. It's located on Willow road just a little bit east of Shermer.

Alright, alignment all taken care of.
Had I known about HiRevnVIII's Sears offer earlier, I'd have probably taken him up on it, but as I had already scheduled an appointment with Thalmann, I decided to go there instead.
Final alignment on stock suspension set to:
Front: 0 Toe/-1.9 camber
Rear: 0 Toe/-1.5 camber
Driving impressions: seems to hold better in corners (can't really tell until I track it), car is not nearly as nervous on the street as it was before ... definite
Shop impressions: Todd runs a clean shop, very professional. I watched the whole process, he never hurried, took his time, made sure everything was perfect. And the first thing he did after the car was aligned ... put all his tools back into place. IMO, very good to see.
Price was a little on the high side, though. $150 total for about 75 minutes worth of work.
