I have the $$$ for a fat set of Volks, but I want exclusivity and still keep up with the HKS theme. The style of the HKS wheel is not my first choice, but c'mon...5 sets in the USA??? Cant get more exclusive than that...

I can understand you wanting to keep the HKS theme but hey, even the HKS Evo's don't sport HKS wheels...LOL.

Vince,

I would have to agree man. HKS is great, but those wheels don't really look that good, even on that Supra. It reminds me too much of certain oem wheels from some 80's-90's cars.

Now.. if I may make some suggestions... I'm looking at my Oct 2005 issue of Option Magazine I just got from Kyowa Shoten and I'm seeing some sweet *** wheels between the pages, for the Evo.

Racing Hart Type CXR - the mag has an Evo 8 on the ad for it.

and

Type C4R

- both styles are black with thick polished lip...yummy

and then the JIC J-Force 05.. sorry can't find a pic online for it.

Just saw this thread after all these years.... to set the record straight, the 18 x 9.5 rims weigh 19 lbs. The 18 x 8 front wheels weigh right at 17 lbs. a wheel. They do not look like the GTO wheels, they were out 9 yrs before the GTO, so the GTO rims look like THEM.... BTW, the name HKS is actually cast on the wheel itself. I'm also looking for a set for a Supra fitment, if anyone knows where any are for sale, (except on the HKS Zero-R's).
7 year old thread and counting......
